OK it's coming up on holiday time, and every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I make a really decadent NY Style cheesecake. My dear husband sooooooo looks forward to these, because the holidays are really the only time I cook them.
I'm looking for a good recipe for NY style cheesecake that is preferably sugar free. I've heard that baking with Splenda can be tricky because after a certain point in time when cooking it, it turns bitter and ruins the dish.
Anyone have any good recipes? Or anyone know of a good, solid substitute that I can replace my sugar with in my regular recipe?
Also, if I use fat free cream cheese or fat free sour cream, will the cheesecake be as good, you think?
