I have lost twenty five pounds from June 1st 2005. The day I first looked at Calories per hour dot com. The strange thing is that i dont have any cravings for pizza or junk food. It seems so odd to me that I have no desire to scarf an entire pizza after work. I dont understand it. My roomates quit smoking and my losing weight seems very much like their struggle. I would just like to thank God that food isnt as addictive as smoking!

I've heard that nicotine is a more powerful drug than cocaine.

Maybe you actually enjoy being healthy and looking better? Kinda just kidding... but it does have it's rewards.

Congrats!

AWESOME! Have you met your weight loss goal? Or do you still have more to lose?

Keep up the great work!

I'd have to dissagree with you Benjee, food is as addictive as nicotine if not more.

I quit smoking cold turkey january 13, 2004.

i have never had another cigarette, don't want one, don't need one.  I don't miss it at all.

I have been trying to lose weight for 3 years 3 months. i have lost and gained the same 60 pounds for 3 years. i guess in my case it's easier to quit something you never needed than cut back on something you need to live.

I agree with tobethin,  It was so much easier to quit smoking.  I didn't have that much trouble.  However, I do need to eat each day and don't have a choice in quitting that cold turkey.  HOwever, cold turkey does sound good.  lol

have a great one.

congrats on your loss.  That is a wonderful job.  Cleaner air will be very helpful too.
