I'm a strong guy so I carry "weight well". With that said, 2 years ago I hit 245 and had to purchase size 38 pants. Over a period of 5 years, I had slowly ballooned to 245 from 180 (28 waist). Throughout those years, I actively lifted weights and in the beginning, I didn't really mind the weight because it wasn't that noticible. Then one day, after not lifting in some time, I went to the gym and took off my over shirt and began lifting with only my shorts and hanes undershirt. With mirrors all around, I couldn't escape the fact that my weight was getting out of control. People that I am close with never really noticied because I slowly gained all the weight and again, I'm a muscular guy.
Now, 2 years later, I am down to 215 pounds and feeling much better. My target is to get back into waist size 30 pants. I'm in 34 right now.
