Hi
My father lost 32 lbs counting calories, and encouraged me to try.
It was easier for him, because he doesn't work, so he could cook meals. My problem was what to eat at work, where I spend at least 9 hours a day.
For 2 and a half months I lost 13 lbs. I know it is not fast, but it is effective and I am satisfied, after that I ate normally for a month and didn't gain anything back.
My maximum daily calorie intake was 1200.
I tried to avoid bread as much as I could.
For breakfast - low fat fruit yogurt.
My lunch usually consisted of salad, for example : canned tuna, raw green pepper, cottage cheese and spices. After the salad I would eat a cereal bar, that would satisfy my urge for sugar.
In the evening I would make a vegetarian soup and toasted rye bread.
I hadn't been hungry, that was interesting. You just don't eat potato chips and ice cream in front of the TV, and you save lots of calories!
Sometimes I treated myself with roasted chicken sandwich, which is not very wrong if eaten without any add-ons. Another treat was McDonalds Fitness meal with Ceasar Salad, beautiful. I couldn't make it if I didn't reward myself sometimes. Instead of cereal bar sometimes I took Mars, why not once in 2 weeks, I counted it in too, of course.
I really hate workout, so I decided to walk home after work, and that is 50 minutes of walking, I enjoy that.
Now I am starting dieting again to get rid of the last 10 lbs.
Good luck everyone

I have to add something .. Very useful thing is skin firming lotion. My cousin lost 30lbs quickly, and she looks like she has more skin then she needs, that is not very nice.
