Hello everyone.
I started around November at 220+ lbs. I gained it pretty slowly and it really crept up on me. I never thought of myself as being very fat. Looking at some pictures of myself really opened my eyes and I definitely did not like what I saw.
I than dedicated myself to eating only healthy foods. No sweets, no soda, no fast food, no junk. I lost 10lbs in a month with no exercise. This further motivated me so I joined a gym and never looked back. I now stand at 179lbs.
Now that I hit my goal weight of 180lbs, I underestimated how fat I really was. Now my new goal weight is 150-155. I still have a huge belly but I hide it well. Once I get there, I will begin a clean bulk to gain some muscle. I've always thought of myself as a BIG guy, but I'm now realizing that I'm rather small without 35% of body fat. Not having as much muscle as I thought is a little depressing but I'm much happier than I was a few months ago. I have to look at the overall picture and remember how far I've gone.
Heres a before and after...
